JOSHUA ANTHONY ROSA

MUSICIAN

​Joshua is under the music department and has been playing guitar with Mr. Detroy for several years. He is a Youth leader and helps teach students who are interested in guitar. He plays a wide range of instruments such as piano and bass. Joshua has been responsible for composing and writing several songs with A Goofy Christmas. He is the lead guitarist in CYP's band which plays live for each show. Our band is known for being one of the strongest aspects of our productions, which is due to the talent and strength of our musicians. 

JAHREE ROBINSON

ACTOR

Jahree (Dino) has been with CYP since he was 7 years old. He is an anomaly, a true strike of talent that has become incredibly important in our productions. Within five years of working with our program, he has turned into our strongest actor. Taking on the lead role in Without a Trace, and A Goofy Christmas. He is one of our fastest learners, memorizing scripts effortlessly, and challenging himself to become a singer. Jahree represents everything CYP stands for, in the opportunity for a young person to truly challenge themselves and become something greater on stage. 

NAJEE CREDLE

DANCER

Najee has been with CYP for about three years and has always had a fearless demeanor. Most often found cartwheeling across the stage, Najee is one of our youngest dancers and youth leaders. Bringing light and energy to the stage, she is an assistant to Mariah in the dance department. When students aren’t getting the chroegraphy, she help teach them it correctly. Alongside, she has acted in our most recent productions Without a Trace, and A Quaint Bodega. 

AMELIA BURGOS

ACTOR, DANCER, SINGER

Amelia is our newest youth leader and has only been in the company for two years. Her excellent performance as Dot in Without a Trace at the Bijou Theater proved her worth as a lead. This year she is now one of the leading chartacters in the same play. Amelia is also one of the few triple threats in the program, mostly as an actor, but thriving as a dancer and singer. She is a joyful addition to the company, leading as a performer with a true smile on her face. 

EUGENE SMITH

DRUMMER

Eugene attends Bassick High School and is involved with the Jazz Band. Here at CYP, he is the drummer for our live band productions. Every band needs a drummer that's tight, smart, and reliable. Eugene excels in every sense, contributing to the composing process for each show, while bringing a powerful rhythm to each set. Our band is the strongest aspect of the company, and it wouldn’t be possible without the talented musicians like himself.
